I Can Do It Myself

If you’re a parent or spend any time around kids you might hear a common refrain, “I can do it myself.” The phrase either evokes a feeling of glee (I’m glad I don’t have to get down on the floor and help them find their shoes) or abject dismay (I know this is going to take much longer than I wanted). In either case, there is little you can do about it, especially with kids that are strong-willed and determined and in many cases, you just simply hold off until they ask you for some assistance. This is somewhat the case with writing blogs and newsletters.
