I’m a Bee Gees fan from way back, years before disco became the rage and long after it was over, and so it seems reasonable that this song and their words are particularly relevant to me as someone that writes content for a living.
This romantic lament is true for some or maybe most of the writing that I do.
I write content that is designed to help my clients educate, excite, entertain, and make their readers, yes, fall in love with them.
Of course, not all of my content is a gussied-up love letter to the readers, but some of it is and when that’s the case, I feel like I put forth my very best words.
Perhaps I’m a romantic at heart, or maybe it is because I apply my sales training and consulting skills to the content, but my goal is for the readers to give up their heart and say “yes” to whatever is being communicated.
